About Us

The Ontario Institute for Studying and Performing Islam (OISPI) is a newly established non-profit organization based in Toronto, Canada. Officially incorporated on April 4, 2025, OISPI is led by  Ahmed Salehin Kaderi. While still in its early stages, the institute aims to promote the academic study and cultural expression of Islam through research, education, and community engagement. As OISPI grows, it is expected to become a valuable hub for Islamic scholarship and performance in Ontario.

My Passion

My passion for Islamic knowledge and community service inspired my connection to the Ontario Institute for Studying and Performing Islam (OISPI). As a non-profit research center based in Toronto, OISPI reflects my deep interest in promoting the understanding of Islam through both academic study and cultural expression. I am drawn to its mission of combining research, education, and performance to enrich lives and build a stronger, more informed community. Through my involvement with OISPI, I hope to contribute meaningfully to the preservation and celebration of Islamic values and heritage.

My Goals

My goal is to contribute to the growth and impact of the Ontario Institute for Studying and Performing Islam (OISPI) by promoting meaningful research, education, and cultural engagement within the Muslim community. I aim to support OISPI in becoming a leading platform where Islamic knowledge is studied, shared, and celebrated. Through this work, I hope to inspire others, especially the younger generation, to connect with their faith, heritage, and identity in thoughtful and creative ways.
